As I write this, I'm listening to a Dead Prez song entitled "Be Healthy." It's basically a song about living an Ital lifestyle. There is definitely concious hip hop out there, but the shitstem knows that it goes against what they want us (the youth) to think, so they keep it off the airwaves. "The only way to reach the youth is to teach them to seek the truth." It's on our (the youth) shoulders as well; it's not enough to have goodness and love and righteousness and non-guns presented to us, we have to want to learn it, to have our minds open enough to accept. Knock on the door, and it shall be opened. Seek and ye shall find.
