Ises Idren!
I do not post often now but it does not mean that I am not off doing Jah works. I work in the middle of Babylon and there is much to be done by Rasta example. One of the first examples I try to set is not to get involved with the bickering that goes on everywhere. When people start I try to construct some positive reasoning. It kind of shuts them up because they are simply in the dark. They are so used to fussing and fighting that they have forgotten/or never knew how to reason positively.
The other example I set is 'Get up, stand up for your rights'. There are a lot of bullies out there who are only strong because people let them be through fear. I have now taken to standing up to my boss in a very positive way by saying 'I have done my best but need positive instruction if you wish something else to be done.' He kind of looks at me as if to ask where I am coming from but in the three months I have worked for him he has stopped being a middle class middle aged chauvinist pig and has actually started to consider me and what I can do to help him.
He was so conditioned by Babylon that he simply could not see further. My next plan is 'There is such a beautiful world out there, why do you fuss over what you have and do not have?'
Example idren, not an easy path, but one well worth setting for the blind Babylonians!
