It is good to celebrate calendar events, it is even better to improve on what is handed up to InI instead of just lip service, the preservation of InI cultural heritage is also important, no time to ‘sugar- coat’ things; facts are facts, you cannot say Rastafari if you don’t sight Qadamawi Haile Selassie and his gift to the world.
On Coronation day 2nd November 1930, Ethiopian dignitaries and foreign guest –a prince of England sat next to a prince of the ancient royal line of Solomon, then a marshal of France, a King of Tigre and an ambassador of Belgium, Representatives from Occident and Orient; bearded feudal Chieftains from the north and south and east and west of this ancient empire of Ethiopia. Christians and Muslims and many others all gathered for Coronation of Emperor Haile Selassie.
Now in time of 2009 and stepping; what are the Christians and Muslims doing regarding the grand coronation anniversary of Qadamawi Haile Selassie, is it on their calendar of events? They have all strayed from the foundation set by forefathers. –What is their testimony?
Are they behaving like Simon Peter who denied the Christ? -They have displayed no regards for the Davidic covenant. Are they now reading a different bible than King James Version?
The Coronation of Qadamawi Haile is not only for Rastafari alone to celebrate.
It was recorded that “For five hours –we witness the unfolding of Incient and traditional Hebraic Christian ceremony of the crowing of a ruler of the Ethiopian Empire. Forty nine bishops and Priests and priest of this ancient Christian country in groups of seven have held pace for seven days and nights in the seven corners of this national Cathedral to chant without ceasing nine psalms of David”

So many Rastafari houses/mansions –How many of them are pooling their resources –How many of them are working towards collective security –How many of them are fulfilling the Nyah Binghi Creed?

‘O our lord, place this crown of glory and joy upon the brow of thy servant the Empress Menen. Make it a crown of charity, piety, wisdom and of intelligence –make this crown to be a crown of honour and glory, so be it.”
Will you be able to live clean like Empress Menen, caring for the youths and be dutiful?
Therefore, there should be much more in place when holding the Ises –It is good to examine the chants and their relevance today –Is there a need for new chants or revised chants?
–Will there be ritual chant or a chant to break bonds asunder and cast the mental shackles from InI? What will the gathering achieve other than celebrating the grand coronation anniversary of Qadamawi Haile Selassie and his iloved wife Empress Menen?–
