"Is Howell really the FIRST Rastafari...or is it really Qedamawi Haile Selassie, aka Rastafari the FIRST!?
Whose words/principles should be FIRST/the foundation"?
***That would be the equivalent of saying that ALLAH is the first muslim. How can God be the first muslim. Muslim mean to submit to Allah. Likewise how can Jah (god) be the first Rastafarian? I sight Haile Selassie I as God. Some may not, but I do. Therefore why would I see God as the first Rastafarian? The scriptures say, "And I shall have a new name, and my people shall be known by that name". Therefore Howell was the first Rastafarian, and known to be the father of Rastafarian movement, preaching his 6 principals of Rastafarian. Do not the Muslims have the 5 pillars of Islam?
The muslims go on every word of their prophet Muhameed, and claim to also follow the words of Allah. Yet when I as a Rastafarian choose to follow the teachings of my last prophet Leonard Howell, now I am in eror? Perhaps if one see a distinct difference between Howell's teachins and that of HIM, then perhaps they may need to seek the deeper meanings of the livity.
But before I go any further, are you trying to imply that Howell and Selassie I Philosophy is in direct contrast?
I don't want to put words in your mouth, therefore I am asking first.
