this guy named sa-ra-suten-seti keeps going to his nursing home and peddling for cash on Dr. Ben's behalf...and he sits up there on screen opening 20's and "fitties".

this is a peculiar situation because

A. what is Doc to do with the cash?
B. what are the accountability measures?
C. nursing homes many times have the right to your assets, including your social security or any other income, if I recall correctly. So that means they could legally attach any cash as an offset to the costs of his care...OR if his care is federally subsidized, the gov't could attach his funds.

HOWEVER, if a trust fund or some association was set up. It would not be considered HIS money because it would be a 3rd party foundation or trust. AND ones from all over could sent checks and money orders of greater amounts than some 5's and fitties. Too many people, so-called "brothers" and "sisters" included, are very messed up and can easily, shall we say "pilfer" cash money and no one would know.

A legitimate/bonafide fund-raiser is in order for sure.
