I overstand what you are saying. But can you present the civilizations that had democracy prior to Greece?
As for the monotheism subject, that is something that only each person can answer within themselves. I gave my reasons as to why monotheism is great, but you may have other reasons, or may not have any reasons to support monotheism.
What I see, is when a society supports one God, one NATION, and one LEADER, it makes a society strong, and unstoppable. However let me make this clear, I do not support Islam, but look at what they accomlpished as an empire of faith. The Muslims conquered Africa, the Middle east, Asia, and portions of Europe. Some may see that as a bad thing. However if people can believe in one God and do terrible things in uison, then surely they can do good.
Imagine the positive energy had Islam been more focused on feeding the hungry, cloathing the naked, healing the sick, etc. Imagine the GOOD that humanity can produce if we all believe in the same energy to better mankind. The day that we do that, then that is the day that the world will return back to it's true divine state.
Look to nature....there is only ONE QUEEN BEE, with worker bees all pitching in to achieve the same goal, that being the protection, and productivity of the hive's community.
The answer is monotheism for the future.
