Greetings Brethren and Sisthren
I was given the inspiration from another post to start this new post.
Now on the other post I said Every man must find His or Her vine and fig tree. I mentioned Mexico for the Mexicans, and a brother reacted and said I must be an American.
I answered and said no I am an African. Now the brother answered and said. That is bull shit because He is mixed and if he should put one foot in Africa, one foot in venezuela, one in Ireland and so on and His main Question is where are the mixed people belong?
Lets be frank, about this. I can't speak for mixed people Roots. people who have black and white parents has a main problem that I cant solve, for which side can I tell them to go to, Africa or Europe. I have people in my family that has that same problem too.
Anyway I will post this Question to the people for a debate for opinions and answers, this way I can learn from others without anyone saying my opinion is bullshit, for I see this as a touchy issue.
This is what we are here for to teach and to learn also. none of us have all the answers, Irie.
This is the Question, then I man will back away and hear from others.
If a person father is a Black man and their Mother is a White woman What Roots are they from African or European?
I cannot answer this one for this reason. my opinion may offend some one who is in this position and I really rather to help on this post than to Fuss and fight. I feel we are all here to learn in some way or the other. Ras Tafari
Ras Untunga I.
